Privacy Policy at lucia-events.com

Published: April 2, 2026Updated: April 2, 2026

1. What data we collect

At Lucia Events, we may process different categories of personal data depending on whether you are simply browsing, creating an account, using the planner, messaging providers, or purchasing a subscription.

  • account and identity data: name, email address, login credentials, social-login identifiers, and language or security settings;
  • profile and usage data: profile image, saved preferences, planner records, messages, and inquiries;
  • billing and transaction data: selected plan, subscription status, invoices, and limited payment-system identifiers;
  • technical and security data: IP address, access logs, browser or device details, and cookie choices.

2. Why we use this data

We use personal data to create and secure accounts, enable login and recovery flows, verify email addresses, operate the planner, deliver provider communications, handle billing, support users, and protect the platform.

Where appropriate, we also rely on legitimate business interests for fraud prevention, abuse detection, analytics, service improvement, and compliance with legal obligations.

3. Who may receive data

Access is limited to Lucia Events and trusted processors that help us run the service, such as infrastructure, payment, email-delivery, storage, and analytics providers.

When you send an inquiry to a provider, we share only the information needed to process that inquiry or reservation. We may also disclose data if required by law or a competent authority.

4. Retention and security

We retain data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose of processing, for an active subscription, for support and dispute handling, or for a legal obligation. When data is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or restrict access to it.

For technical and organizational safeguards, please also review the Security Policy.

5. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, rectification, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and erasure where the legal conditions are met.

You can read more about data-subject rights and legal bases in the GDPR Policy.

6. How to request deletion of user data

If you are signed in, you can use the Permanent profile deletion section on your profile page. That flow removes your user account, access, profile image, saved settings, and planner data.

The same deletion path applies even if your account was created through Google or Facebook sign-in.

If your user account is linked to a provider profile, first remove the provider profile in the provider dashboard, then complete user-profile deletion on the main domain.

If you can no longer access the account, send a deletion request from the email address associated with the account through an official Lucia Events contact channel. We verify identity before completing deletion for security reasons.

7. Cookies and policy updates

Details about consent, analytics, and marketing tags are available in the Cookie Policy.

We may update this policy from time to time when services, laws, or processors change. The latest active version is always published on this page.
